I/O Navigator

Exploring LLM-driven I/O performance diagnosis

I/O Navigator implements an LLM-driven analysis of Darshan logs to identify, describe, and explain I/O performance issues present within HPC applications. I/O Navigator also provides an interactive chat interface, enabling users to gain a deeper understanding of their I/O performance. This is a demo of I/O Navigator which showcases 3 sample performance diagnoses and allows you to interact with each diagnosis via chat interface. Enter your email below to get started!

Welcome to the I/O Navigator Demo!

Purpose

This demo is designed to showcase the capabilities of LLMs in diagnosing I/O performance issues in HPC applications profiled using the Darshan I/O profiler as well as their ability to provide individualized performance guidance.

How to Use

Each of the three example cases below represent a unique application profiled with Darshan and analyzed by an LLM. Click on the Interact with This Trace button to see the original Darshan trace, the LLM's analysis of the trace, and a chat interface where you can interact with the LLM to ask questions about the trace.
